ANTZ Junction is a thriving third sector organisation, based across Greater Manchester, delivering projects within its social centre’s which support local communities into employment.

It has been at the forefront locally, of innovation and development in providing work readiness services.

Our aims and objectives are centred on working with people within a person centred approach, to empowerment and equipping our members with the skills and mindset that is needed when looking for work. Our members often have to overcome skills gaps and psychological barriers to employment. They will gain work experience, a living CV, interview experience and access to accredited training, employment or start up as a new business.

We are seeking to recruit a highly committed and dynamic individual into the role of development coach and project manager, to work across two projects.

The first is an exciting new project, working with offenders/ ex-offenders, who are in recovery from drug and/or alcohol use. The project is designed to support such members, who want to take that next step into employment. As well as supporting the individuals into employment, we also aim to support people through the five areas to wellbeing – connect, be active, keep learning, give to others and be mindful. The project is person centred in its approach and will work with each person at their own pace for up to 12 months, working through three stages of development – first steps, next steps and progression.

The second project is an established through the gate project, supporting ex-offenders who want to take that next step into employment.

The role requires a creative and bespoke approach to implementation and delivery, keeping the project moving forward and at the forefront of innovative strategy. We are looking for someone with considerable experience of supporting individuals, ideally offenders/ ex-offenders, particularly those recovering from drug and/or alcohol use. Additionally, the successful candidate will need to demonstrate an ability to assess individual’s needs, and methods of supporting them into employment. Reporting to our Director of Projects, you may be required to support the charity in any other role that may be required.

Salary: – £22,000
