Training

The program sits alongside the cascading process which ensures individuals have the skills they need to respond appropriately.

Central to the Framework is a move away from labeling and preconceptions and towards looking at what the individual wants to do, consider together what support is actually needed and how , working in partnership can it be put into place.

Diversity and Inclusion Steering Group

Our Diversity and Inclusion Steering Group is central to the way we respond to our duties outlined in the Human rights Bill, the Equality Act 2010 and guidelines for good practice in this area.

It is made up of representatives from across our organization and reports directly to the CEO and the Board.

The Steering group is tasked with overseeing the implementation of the Diversity and Inclusion Framework and has a number of sub groups to ensure participation in our decision making process.

Training

We have a rolling program of Training which all members of our organization are required to attend.

This training ranges from Induction , Awareness raising , organizational responses to more specialized aspects of Diversity and Inclusion.
