At Antz Junction, we take the security and privacy of data very seriously. Please find details below of our security measures which are continuously maintained and adhered to.
This notice explains the types of personal data we may collect about you when you interact with us. It also explains how we’ll store and handle that data and keep it safe. We appreciate there is a lot of information to read but we want you to be fully informed about your rights and how Antz Junction uses your data. We hope this will answer all your questions but if not, please do not hesitate to get in touch. We are committed to not do anything with your information that you wouldn’t reasonably expect. As maintenance of this policy is ongoing, occasional updates may be required. We will inform you of any significant changes but do please come back and check regularly.

Contract – We will process your personal data to fulfil an order, deliver a service, essentially comply with our contractual obligations. An example might be, if you are a company arranging a corporate track day, we will collect your email address to send relevant information.
Legal Compliance – If the law or government requires us to, we may need to collect and process your data. An example might be passing on details of fraud to law enforcement.
Legitimate Interest – In cases, we required personal data to pursue our legitimate interests in a way which might reasonably be expected as part of running our business. Examples might be using postal or email details to send direct marketing information by post telling you about events and services that we think might interest you. When personal data is collected

- If you contact us by any means with queries, complaints etc.
- If you enter prize draws or competitions.
- If you book any kind of appointment with us, for example a meeting to discuss an opportunity.
- If you choose to complete any surveys we send you.
- If you comment on or review our products and services.
- Any individual may access personal data related to them, including opinions. So, if your comment or review includes information about the Partner who provided that service, it may be passed on to them if requested.
How Personal data is collected
Via interactions with us over the
phone, by email or online. An example might be notes from conversations with
you, queries, complaint details, comments, purchase details and web visits.
On documents you provide to prove marketing compliance. This will include details of your full name, address, telephone number, and/or email address.
During website visits, using cookies in your web browser to help improve the site. Information such as which site you came from to ours.
Payment card information. This is not stored for longer than it takes to complete the transaction.
Through comments, feedback and reviews, either digitally or on forms filled out by hand.
From social media, if you interact with us through those channels, information such as usernames to help us respond to your comments, questions or feedback.
How, why and when personal data is used
To give you the best possible customer experience. One way to achieve that is to get the most detailed picture of who you are by combining the data we have about you. We then use this to offer you promotions, products and services that are most likely to interest you.
The data privacy law allows this as part of our legitimate interest in understanding our customers and providing the highest levels of service.
Of course, if you wish to change how we use your data, you can inform us at any time. Remember, if you choose not to share your personal data with us, or refuse certain contact permissions, we might not be able to provide some services you’ve asked for.
When processing booking and orders, if we do not collect your personal data, we will not be able to comply with the necessary legal obligations in order to complete the process. Your details are kept so that we may provide you with information prior to the event or order being fulfilled and subsequently provide and aftercare service post completion.

To administer any of our prize draws or competitions which you enter, based on your consent given at the time of entering.

We will treat your data with the utmost care and take all appropriate steps to protect it. We secure access to our websites and apps using ‘https’ technology. Access to your personal data is password-protected, and sensitive data is secured by SSL encryption. We endeavour to regularly monitor our system to identify ways to further strengthen security.
Our website does not collect specific, detailed information about you as a visitor to our site.
Where information is gathered, we will inform you of this along with the explanation of why it is required. This information will be for purposes such as responding to an enquiry made and we will ask for this information for us to get in touch and provide the relevant information which has been requested from you.
Cookies and tracking software are used on a temporary basis and expire when the site has been left. These are used for purposes such as website improvement. Google Analytics is also used for the same reason of website improvement and understanding how you use it. This information is not shared with anyone.
The personal information we collect and hold via Tracking software is the following: –

- We currently use the following companies that may process your personal data through website usage. Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Google.
Payment card details are not stored by Antz Junction and are used solely for individual transactions to which they have been provided for. Additionally, customer’s details are not shared with any third parties.
Data will be stored for a reasonable period. After you have stopped being an active customer, we may continue to contact you with information relating to our products and services. We deem a reasonable period to be three years after an order has been completed or agreement has expired. After this time, the data we hold will either be deleted, anonymised or retained providing you have not asked us to remove it.
This information will not be passed on to anyone other than authorised employees and volunteers of Antz Junction. We currently do not use external companies to send promotional material or make contact on our behalf but if this was to change, we would expect them to adhere to the same rules as Antz Junction. They would be expected to erase any data upon termination of any such agreement.
While you are a customer of Antz Junction, the basis for processing your data is under ‘contract’. When you are no longer an active customer of Antz Junction, the basis is ‘legitimate interest’ as we would like you to once again order products/services from us. Prior to placing the order, an enquirer is processed on consent.
You have the right to request information we hold for you which will be provided free of charge within 28 days.
The data we hold will be corrected when we are notified of errors.
Information we hold for you will no longer be processed if requested to do so.
Information we hold for you will be deleted if requested to do so. If we obtain your details again in the future, it is possible we may accidentally contact you as we will hold no record of you and your contact preferences. We may ask to keep your email address on an ‘unsubscribe’ list to avoid you being emailed by accident in the future.
You have the right to stop processing your personal data under legitimate interest for individual reasons. We will comply unless we believe there is a legitimate overriding reason to continue processing.
To stop direct marketing by email, click the ‘unsubscribe’ link in any email communication that we send you. We will update our records to stop further mailings as quickly as we can. However, for up to 28 days you may still receive further mailings which were already in progress prior to you asking us to stop.
